Our Survey staff includes multiple survey crews and technicians led by our experience professional land surveyors. Our staff has the experience necessary to provide the innovative thinking and technical skills required to meet our clients needs and challenges. With survey operations at multiple offices, our survey managers can provide personal services to our clients and still draw upon the technical resources of our entire firm.

King Engineering uses state-of-the-art surveying equipment, including real-time global positioning systems (GPS) equipment using VRS networks, robotic total stations with data collectors and digital levels. These tools enable rapid collection of data and with new technologies in data transfer, King can wirelessly transmit information to and from the office, download files, collect and report work status and upload completed job files before even leaving the field.

We are also very proud of being able to offer high definition scanning as one of our many surveying services. This type of surveying is a safe means of rapidly collecting data. This technology has proven to be accurate and provide more detailed information then conventional surveying. By using state of the art digital scans, we can bring the project from the field to our desktops; this saves our clients money by reducing the amount of field crew days necessary and avoids return trips to the job site. Scanning is a proven way to make a positive impact on a project’s bottom line.
