King Engineering has an established record in the development of “Sustainable Infrastructure”. As part of this initiative, King has numerous professionals that are LEED Accredited.
LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is an internationally recognized sustainable building certification system, providing third-party verification that a building or community was designed and constructed using strategies aimed at improving performance across all the metrics that matter most: energy savings, water efficiency, CO2 emissions reduction, improved indoor environmental quality, and stewardship of resources and sensitivity to their impacts.
Sustainable Infrastructure is associated with a variety of environmental, economic, and human health benefits, many of which go hand-in-hand with one another. The benefits of sustainable design and infrastructure are particularly accentuated in urban and suburban areas where open space is limited and environmental sensitivity is a vital concern.
